Happy Tuesday, friend! I wanted to share a quick note with you about something very special ❤️ In case you missed it, my story — every chapter that led me to create The Enchanted Book Club — is featured in ConvertKit's article series about creative people and their pursuits.

The resident storyteller at ConvertKit interviewed me for hours as we discussed my creative journey, life before The Enchanted Book Club, and what it takes to run the book club as a business. It is a behind-the-scenes look at so much of what goes into being the host of a literary community.

I've never shared so many details of my story before, talked about the moment I put a pause on reading, or how creating this beloved book club was my final attempt at building my own business. I'm not sure that many people know that I was songwriter far before I started sharing photos of my classic literature collections on Instagram or how nervous I was the first time I interviewed an author.

I consider you a kindred spirit, Reader, so when ConvertKit asked if they could share these details of my story, I thought: "yes, who better to share my story with than my kindred spirits — the dear friends that celebrate the magic of storytelling with me."

Did you know The Enchanted Book Club is reading Anne of Avonlea next month? In preparation, I'm listening to Anne of Green Gables. It's narrated by Rachel McAdams which is so lovely!

Speaking of preparation, The Enchanted Book Club's trip to England is coming up in September!! This experience will be a dream come true. I'll be capturing lots of content while I'm there (of Jane Austen's home, The Royal Crescent, Alice's Shop, Shakespeare's birthplace and more) that I can't wait to share with you 🇬🇧

As Anne Shirley says, "Looking forward to things is half the pleasure of them," so I am relishing in the anticipation of experiencing England for the first time. Have you been before? I'd love to hear your stories!
